Is KryptoBanq a bank?+

No. KryptoBanq is a self-custodial crypto wallet designed to make using crypto simple. Your assets remain in your wallet on the blockchain.

Does KryptoBanq hold my money?+

No. Your crypto remains in your self-custodial wallet. KryptoBanq does not hold a customer account balance on your behalf.

What happens if KryptoBanq shuts down?+

Your crypto remains on the blockchain. Open Advanced in Settings and export your recovery words so you can use the wallet elsewhere.

What if I forget my password?+

KryptoBanq cannot reset your wallet password. Keep it somewhere safe.

Will KryptoBanq ever ask for my password?+

No. KryptoBanq will never contact you asking for your password or wallet recovery information.

Do I need to understand networks or gas?+

No. Choose the asset you want to use; KryptoBanq validates the correct address and shows the network cost before you confirm.

Can I use a normal wallet address?+

Yes. You can send using a KryptoBanq username or a standard wallet address. New wallet addresses must be checked in full before confirming.

Can I receive from another wallet?+

Yes. Choose the asset, then copy or scan the standard testnet address shown by KryptoBanq.

How does KryptoBanq make money?+

Receiving is free. KryptoBanq shows a 0.50% send fee and 0.75% swap fee. During testnet these fees are calculated but not collected.
